You are more than your fears and anxiety
If a fear or anxiety has been quietly running the show — shaping what you avoid, where you’ll go, and how free you feel from one day to the next — there are two things I’d like you to know.
First: you’re not weak, and you’re not alone. These reactions are automatic, and they rarely respond to logic or willpower, however hard you try. Second: they can change — often far more quickly than you’d expect.
I’m Shawn. I’ve been practising hypnosis for many years, and I’m still amazed at how effective these techniques are. They work for people who genuinely want to change — not just to find out what’s wrong, but to actually feel different in the moments that matter.
Before I became a hypnotist, I trained and worked as a scientist. That background still shapes everything I do: practical, structured, and grounded in what actually works — nothing mystical, nothing abstract. I used those techniques to overcome my own two demons, claustrophobia and fear of heights.
So rather than picking over the past in detail, we look at how the fear is operating now, and shift it right there. The goal isn’t just understanding. It’s a real change in how you respond — walking into the meeting, the small space, the flight, the thing you’ve been avoiding, and finding it simply easier than it used to be.
Most people are genuinely surprised by how quickly that can happen when you’re working in the right way. If any of this sounds like you, let’s have a short, no-pressure conversation and see what’s possible.
